6 Energizing Smoothies

Starting the day most of us need a way to kick into gear. We resort to a cup of coffee, or two, or four. Then, halfway through our day we might need another kick to shift into a higher gear. Bring on the coffee! However, studies have shown that there is a such thing as ‘too much coffee’. Coffee-dependents are consuming far too much caffeine (even decaffeinated coffee contains caffeine), which has nasty side effects. How can we possibly maintain being productive, sound, and emotionally stable members of society and members of our households in a more healthy way and without crashing or melting down like a toddler?

Make one of these protein-packed smoothies whenever you need a boost. They’re loaded with nut and seed butters, yogurt, tofu, and more.
